Stay in the Historic Mary May House Bed and Breakfast above the Kentucky Bourbon Marketplace for the total Bourbon Experience. The Bed and Breakfast resides in the center of Bardstown – voted the “Most Beautiful Small Town in America” and is designated a Kentucky Landmark by the Kentucky Heritage Commission. It is one of the oldest buildings in Bardstown. The east portion of the building, where our Bourbon-Tasting Bar is located, dates back to 1821. It was the home of the Widow Mary Meredith May who was the niece of Governor Patrick Henry of Virginia and the daughter of Revolutionary War Colonel Samuel Meredith.
